Since April of 2020, international tourists have been prohibited from travelling to Bali. Good news! The island is slowly and steadily reopening for international flights starting from October 14 with South Korea, Japan, China, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates being the first few countries permitted.
Tourists are required to take COVID-19 tests and follow quarantine protocols. Upon arrival, tourists must also have proof of hotel bookings for their quarantine before getting to fully and freely indulge in the island. As of October 11, the decided quarantine period for tourists is 5 days, however, this may be reduced in the near future.
Ngurah Rai International Airport has initiated the preparation of its international terminal and strict health protocols.
